Laura Elwood is the heart and hands behind Three Sisters – Wild Meadow Farms, an artisan sourdough bakery and patisserie rooted in the Iowa countryside near Cedar Rapids. As the middle sister of three raised on the wholesome abundance of northeast Iowa farms, Laura brings a lifelong appreciation for real food, family tradition, and the quiet magic of slow, intentional baking to every loaf and pastry she creates.

Long before the cameras roll for her early-morning bakery videos, Laura is already in the kitchen—starter bubbling, dough in the queue, and the scent of fresh sourdough filling the air. What began as treasured Christmas cookie-baking sessions with her sisters has grown into a full-fledged labor of love: small-batch, naturally fermented breads and pastries crafted with farm-fresh local ingredients, patience, and genuine care.
